Last Saturday, I spent a fun-filled day at Vogue Festival on London’s Southbank, with my lovely colleagues Berengere and Gledis. We went to see Alexa Chung and Lucinda Chambers speak on “Personal Style – Do you have it?” As it often goes with these type of events, the actual, one hour long talk, was not the highlight of the day. The real fun was to meet and photograph like minded fashionistas, to be inspired by different, creative styles and to generally indulge in ‘girly nonsense’ (as Mr Romantique would call it).
I’m excited to share with you my Best of Street Style – gorgeous bloggers competed for the photographers attention and the girls were more than happy to pose.
Above and below: Head to toe in Valentino, the King of Glamour. Russian blogger Sofia Serdiukova impressed with a black lace dress (including sheer panels) and a gold brocade coat. The string of pearls and long, curly hair added even more femininity to the already drop dead gorgeous outfit.
She perfectly epitomises Valentino’s mantra on women’s style: “A woman must decide whether she wants to look ok or whether she wants to look too much, I prefer it when a woman wears an enormous skirt, a beautiful blouse with simple shoes, rather than a dress that that is too much and not elegant. A dress has to live, it can’t be wooden.”
The must have accessory of the day was a statement lip: Cherry red, shocking pink or classic Hollywood, lips were bold. It illustrated beautifully how you can transform and add to an outfit with eye catching lips.
Boyish, relaxed sexyness in torn denim, a hat, black heels and the ever pesent statement lip! Graphic, big prints were popular too.
How cute is this dress? I loved the rural print at the hem and the jewelled collar. No, unfortunately this dress is not from Zara but was bought on holiday in Japan :-(.
No lack of either creative or colourful accessories: Pointy pom-pom heels and A1 handbag candy. I have style envy!
Last but not least, the fash pack Gledis, Berry and myself.
Gledis is wearing: Top handle gold bag from Moschino
Berry is wearing: Black coat with leather sleeves from Zara. Sunglasses from Stella McCartney.
Romantique is wearing: Vichy Gingham shoes from Marc Jacobs, Vichy trousers from Gant, crossbody bag from Moschino, broderie anglaise coat from Max & Co and sunglasses from Versace.

You look fabulous, love the pants but the entire ensemble works so well! I find street style quite inspirational. Nice post!
