My favourite shape of dress has attritubes that look flattering on everyone. When I go out shopping for a new dress (because you can never have enough dresses, right?) I scan dresses for these details:
- Boat neck because it looks feminine on everyone
- Three quarter lenghts sleeves – looks youthful and modern
- pencil skirt or tulip skirt – skims hips and takes off 3 kgs
- Good quality fabric – the best design looks can cheap in inferior fabrics. For autumn and winter, I look for structure: Tweed, Boucle, wool
My grey tweed dress is from Max & Co, Autumn Winter 2012. Here in the UK, Max & Co only has small concessions in Harrods and Fenwick – make sure to check out Max & Co stores when you visit the continent – the choice is much bigger. The store in Berlin at Friedrichsstrasse is located just near the Galeries Lafayette.
Notice the details – i liked the golden zips at the side. The tulip shape is flattering and can easily hide a small tummy
