Romantique Fashion Finds at Galeries Lafayette Berlin

Bags/ Berlin/ Romantique/ Shoes/ Wardrobe

The iconic Parisian department store Galeries Lafeyette opened it’s first German branch in 1996 in Berlin. If you are in Berlin, make sure to check out all the latest fashion from designer to high street as well as the huge makeup department and a Parisian styled Bistro area.

Below are my picks for the new spring / summer  season 2012!

Espadrille from Spanish label Castaner with a Chanel-esque patent leather tip

A great way to rock the romantic trend 2012  is to take a classic trenchcoat with broderie anglaise details – this one is from Valentino Red.

No summer without rain – This umbrella with fresh pink Vichy checks lightens up the rainy days

Dainty, pastel coloured flowers on Valentino handbags – I love this season!

Furla is one of the few Italian fashion and handbag labels that is still family owned and also reasonably priced for the quality. Like all Furla handbags, this is one is exquisitly crafted and adds class to any outfit!

Italian bombshell look

Dresses/ Romantique/ Wardrobe

All you need to morph into a siren à la Sophia Loren for the upcoming spring and summer season :

  • Eyeliner painted with a kitten flick (I Love Bobbi Brown’s gel eyeliner)
  • Printed shift and 50s dresses

The look is so feminine and flattering, it suits every body type! The below printed shift dress by Dolce & Gabbana instantly took 5 pounds off me with it’s fitted shape and stretchy material.

Bee waist and swinging skirt in olive green tull and pink bows – by Valentino Red

Scattered flowers on black and white dress – by Valentino Red

Monica Belluci and Bianca Balti for Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer 2012 – for the courageous swap flowers with vegetable prints!

Queen of Femininity  Sophia Lauren in a flower printed dress in the 50s
