Cashmere and Lace Streetstyle

Cashmere and Lace Streetstyle

Cashmere is one of the materials I feel so at home in – soft, snuggly and luxurious.  I like my cashmere chunky knit for the home or the weekend, and finer knitted for work, in the chic shapes of cardigans, twin-sets or jumpers.  casThe older I get, the more I appreciate high quality materials.

The creme cardigan I wear in the pictures is from FTC, a German label putting emphasis  on fair trade materials and humane working conditions. An important point as commercial cashmere production affects the ecology of Central Asia. The introduction of cashmere goats displaces native hoofed animals.

Black lace reminds me of Southern Italy, Dolce and Gabbana, indulgence and pure femininity. The perfect partner for cashmere.

Zara black lace skirt

I am wearing:

  • Cream cardigan from FTC
  • Black lace pencil skirt from Zara
  • Green chained cross body bag from Gianfranco Ferre
  • Bronze shoes from Max & Co
  • Jewellery from Les Nereides & N2

Cashmere is not cheap, but when looked after well it lasts a long time. Check the sales or TK Maxx for bargains!

London Tube Style Rockmantique

Romantique/ Wardrobe

This London fashionista has it all matched perfectly: Romantic delicate flowery silk blouse mixed with a classic Chanel-esque boucle box jacket – as a further nod to Coco Chanel, she added a quilted chain leather handbag into the mix.

Now we come to the rock part of the oufit: Skinny Jeans with zipper details and nude suede wedges complete with wooden heel and studs – double wow!

Streetstyle London

Rebel Alexa

Vom Styling ein schönes Paar unterwegs in High Street Kensington. Sehe selten Paare, wo beide in ihrem persönlichen Stil miteinander harmonieren.
