Geometric Gelato Dress

Dresses/ Romantique/ Wardrobe

What do you do on yet another rainy summer Sunday in London? The answer is simple: You dress as if it is warm and have a gelato pretending you’re in Italy!

I snapped up this  dress in Berlin at Max & Co., one of my favourite Italian stores. With it’s straight 60s shift shape and the geometric pattern, it looks like it’s come straight out of Megan Draper’s wardrobe.  Straightly cut shift dresses are great to hide a gelato tummy while you can still show your legs. Monochrome is an eternal classic look and becomes irresistable with a flash of yellow colour.

As this dress is such a statement with it’s graphic prints, I toned down accessories and just teamed the dress with flat yellow Pretty Ballerinas.

This sweetly decorated gelato shop (Dri Dri) is located at the tube station High Street Kensington. Their gelato is made fresh each morning and only contains 8% fat for guilt free pleasure . If you’re at Portobello Road, make sure to pop into Dri Dri’s sister’s store.
