Tutti Frutti 2012

Accessoires/ Dresses/ Romantique

Flicking through fashion magazines displaying next season’s couture is one of the best ways to look forward to summer in the middle of dismal winter.

One of the upcoming trends is the theme of an Italian dinner table by Dolce & Gabbana’s spring collection 2012. Pretty florals and mouthwatering fruit and vegetable prints  (think eggplant, chilli and tomato!)  in bright colours and feminine shapes makes us long  for summer. Can’t wait for long balmy nights after a sunny day out by the Mediterrean sea.

Donatella Versace’s cruise collection 2012  for H&M (available in the UK 19 January)sports exotic fruit and frills which perfectlty match  the playful dresses and bikins of the collection.

The Model on the cover of this month British Vogue wears funky, OTT cherry earrings! If you prefer a  discreeter version, my cherry earrings are from Thomas Sabo and also come as a larger pendant for the necklace.

I love the model’s chalky pastel coloured make-up too: Nail varnish: La Laque Couture in “Blue Majorelle”. Eyeshadow Lumiere Ombre 5, all by YSL.
