The Parisian Ballet Bride

Most of the dresses from big wedding dress designers that I tried so far are suited to big party weddings with hundreds of guests: For my liking, there is just too much tulle, organza, chiffon, sparkle and pomp. That’s not me, I feel like having to attend a fancy dress party in a white dress.

The 50s Ballet wedding dress trend is feminine and elegant and at the same time not as opulent as the bigger wedding dresses, perfect for a destination wedding or a smaller scale wedding.

Here’s a selection of my favourite style icons, dresses and accessorises I came across during my research.

oh, wie süss- und diese Schühchen !
Ich kann diese riesigen Brautroben nicht leiden, sehen aus wie Karneval und die Bräute sind meist nicht authentisch!
