Sydney is world famous for it’s lavish and opulent fireworks. So on New Years Eve around 8 pm, we headed out to Balls Head Reserve to get a good view of the spectacle.
And it was worth the 4 hour wait to watch the colourful fireworks which included pink hearts flying off the harbour bridge, from 6 high rise buildings and 7 boats.
The magic lasted 12 minutes, 1 minute for each new month.
In Germany, people launch their own fireworks from the streets, balconies, and parks. I find this quite frightening so I was quite happy to be in Australia, where it is prohibited for private citizens to launch fireworks.
