Christmas day in Australia started off with an early morning swim at gorgeous Bondi Beach. The beach was crowded with mainly tourists wearing silly santa hats and antlers. This was followed by the obligatory “barbie” – the best way to eat in hot, humid weather. You can throw on everything you like, from steaks to fresh seafood or vegetable shashliks. Does this feel like Xmas? Not for someone coming from the Northern Hemisphere, but it’s definitely something to get used to!
