“You look like a disco ball” – This is what my fiancee told me the other morning when I wore my Set golden-bronze metallic jumper. Haha I could write a book about the funny sayings he comes up with when describing my latest fashion conquests. Luckily I love this jumper so much, there’s nothing he could say that would made me not wear it anymore.
The bronze gold colour of my jumper from Set (bought at a boutique in Potsdam, Germany) is flattering for the skin tone and the pink contrast piping seams give the jumper that certain something. It also spices up my boring brown corderouy pants!

“Sweatpants are a sign of defeat. You lost control of your life so you bought some sweatpants.” Karl Lagerfeld
I’m happy that sweatshirts are not a sign of defeat!
Today, I picked up my UCLA sweatshirt, a woll pants by Hugo Boss, Converse and leo scarf for a Sunday walk – so comfortable, easy and effortless.
Sweatshirts made a great comeback during the last months – styles with feminine pencil skirts, skinny leather pants, classic suit trousers in combination with heels or sneakers making a surprising fashion statement.
I adore this sweatshirt styling, gives me a lot inspiration!

Stylish Loan shows us that less is more in a woman’s streamlined world. Resist the urge for frippery in this gorgeous outfit: Knitted grey bat wing sleeve jumper bought in Japan, skinny Jeans from Topshop and boots from Camper.
Layer chunky or loose fitted knits over only a slim trouser, a skirt, or leggings. Otherwise, you’ll just look weighed down.

Italian label Stefanel is known for it’s expertise in knitwear- whether it’s a fitted dress or an oversized cardigan, no one does knits as elegantly as Stefanel in classic colours – such as caramel, black and grey. Here Bianca Balti wears a grey Stefanel knit poncho.
Inspired by Emmanuelle Alt, I tried the French rock chic style, today. So, how to get the effortless chic of les femmes francaises?? And how to dress like a Parisian? I think the key words are here: simplicity, basics, natural and nonchalance. You do not need the latest trends in order to dress and feel like a Parisian. Chic, seasonless and neutrals are a large part of the French style. Just 4 basic wardrobe pieces are necessary with freshly washed hair, tinted day cream and Chanel lipgloss and you appear casual and elegant without being overdressed or under-dressed!

It seems that polka dots are a lasting trend in fashion. My polka dots top is more than a year in my closet but I didn’t know how to wear? Now, I have found my personal style and know as dots look best on me.
It was a process until I realized that a clear and straight style works best for me. Since then I feel to 100 prozent comfortable and confident with my wardrobe.

For me, the perfect outfit for the season between summer to autumn are cozy and casual sweater combined with black tights skirts and sandals or heels. It’s comfortable to wear such an uncomplicated and relaxed style but still to be chic and feminine, without much trouble.
I’m happy that I know, what I’ll be wearing in the coming weeks and months – skirts and knits! Don’t know what I should wear? No longer with me.
As I found my fashion style more and more at the same time I aged in my personality – everything is a process and is interconnected!
The last time I was in America 5 years ago and I miss Los Angeles and New York very much. All my UCLA shirts I bought in America, because in Germany you can’t get it regularly in shops. For a sporty style, the shirts are just awesome good because UCLA is always cult and never out of fashion.
As I learned from Isabel Marant: shirts, skinny jeans and heels are a modern look and also wearable for women older than 40 years without appearing ridiculous. I love this style very much and I feel very comfortable and so young.

Yesterday, my own post about Isabel Marant gave me the idea of my old T-shirts that I actually get dressed only in sports to rethink. And actually I have a good T-shirt still in my closet for the Isabel Marant ready to wear summer look 2012.
For this great French look you just need to use your old sports t-shirts in a different context of fashion.
