Anouk Aimeé’s style icon status was cemented as one of Fellini’s leading ladies, appearing in 81/2 and La Dolce Vita. Anouk Aimee had an exotic elegance presence often portraying a femme fatale with a dangerous sex appeal that gave her characters power that other actresses couldn’t touch. In addition to acting the French actress was a well-recognized style icon in the 1960s and 1970s. Sitting on the roof of the Hotel Excelsior in Venice in a simple green sweater, pants and ballet flats Aimée shows that she was deserving of this title.
I can’t sit on Hamburg’s roofs but nevertheless I’m really into Anouk Aimee’s French style. To get the Anouk Aimeé Style, just wear the good old wardrobe classics – Breton shirt, trench coat, simple denim jeans and tangerine high heels.
On me: Shirt by ZARA, Trench by Burberry, Shoes by H&M, Denim by For All 7 Mankind, Bag by Longchamp, Sunglases by Jil Sander
