Now that I’m back in Berlin, you will see a lot more posts of R&R back together in action! Last weekend, Rebel drove down from Hamburg. Rather than doing our usual rounds in Mitte, we decided to explore somewhere different. We strolled through Berlin’s Kreuzberg. The once shabby, alternative borough used to be isolated in the divided city. Today, after reunification, Kreuzberg has gone through a renaissance like no other area in Berlin. It’s central location in the reunified Berlin and the prevalence of 19th century Art Deco architecture made it a hotspot for affluent global hipsters. Buildings were restored to their glorious selves and the best eateries made Kreuzberg their homes!
The stately homes in Kreuzberg ooze Parisian style! So I’m doing it the Gaelic way, wearing a classic shift dress by Max Mara with a casual beach item: The Sicilian straw bag by Sicily Bag.
Rebel is casually chic, wearing J crew pointy flats, boyfriend jeans by Hugo Boss, shirt by Zara and Army-esque chic jacket by Closed.
